Time together matters. Yet arranging even an ordinary meal can take more effort than the meal itself: a date in one conversation, an address in another, and decisions nobody knows were settled.
The work behind a gathering
A Friday dinner, an Eid iftar, a birthday or a wedding has a human center and a great many moving parts. Those parts often scatter:
- The invitation and replies.
- The date, place, availability and changes.
- Food, contributions, decisions and the people helping.
- For a larger occasion: the programme, vendors and seating.
A place for the people and the details
Lamma begins with a gathering. It gives the people involved a shared place to see what is decided, what is still open, and what each person has chosen to bring or do. A link makes participation easy; a link by itself is not the destination.
The first journey we are proving is a shared meal, followed by a second gathering that is easier to arrange. An account holder owns the plan; invited guests can respond through a link without creating an account. The invitation on our home page is an interactive example, not a live RSVP. Availability, travel assistance and deeper occasion tools are part of the direction, not a promise that every part is ready today.
A business with respect
No ads, and no sale of gathering data. Free is a complete way to arrange everyday gatherings; paid Plus and the Occasion Pass are planned for more coordination and occasion depth. Purchases are not active yet. The business is subscription-first, with a one-time pass for an occasion, never a price on the size of a gathering.
